Tsugaike Kogen / ◎300cm / Snowy2018.Jan.24
It started to snow heavily from yesterday and as 8:00 a.m. this morning, it was still snowing in the upper areas. Because of the strong wind, the gondola was running just between the intermediate and mountain-foot station. Besides, Han-no-ki No.3 Quad was also closed. In Shirakaba slope, the groomed slope was nicely firm and covered with 10cm fresh snow. In the ungroomed area, there was 35cm deep fresh snow as well.

In a snowy day like today, Champion is one of the best slopes in Tsugaike. In the off-piste area, there was over 40cm deep powdery snow and I could fully enjoy the fluffy snow!!

Today is a weekday in January, so this run was quiet. Thanks to that, I could enjoy the fresh snow again and again. By the way, the groomed slope of Champion was very wide and nicely firm, covered with 10cm fresh snow.

Wide & flat slopes of Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu were also covered with 5cm fresh snow and in nice condition for all from beginners to experts. This cold wave is said to be the biggest one in this season, so it was snowing heavily even after a long while at around 10:00 a.m.
