We had a heavy snowfall after about a week from Jan. 4 (Thu). When I came up to Han-no-ki by the gondola which was open as scheduled, there was 10－15cm fresh snow on the groomed slopes and 30－40cm on the ungroomed slopes!! The slopes were nicely firm and we could enjoy powdery snow fully!

2 girls from Aichi Pref. greeted to me and said, “I really wanted to meet you, Snownavi! We came with our colleagues and my boss is a big fan of you!” This morning, it was hardly blowing a wind and the snow falling quietly dyed the caps white soon.

Tsuga No.2 Pair was open at 9:00 a.m. The first people who got on the lifts went toward Umanose Course and TSUGAPOW DBD, so there were a few people in Tsuga-no-mori. The fresh snow in the ungroomed areas reached my knees and there was 20cm snow in the groomed areas.

The groomed slopes of lower Han-no-ki and Maruyama was covered with 15cm fresh snow and Kane-no-naru-oka has 5cm snowfall. The slopes were nicely soft, so the condition was good for anyone from beginners to experts.

*Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort will start 2017-18 Winter operation from late November, 2017 to May 6, 2018 (Depending on the snow).
