Tsugaike Kogen / ◎175cm / Snowy2017.Dec.25
The strong wind caused the gondola between central station and the top and Han-no-ki No.3 Quad stop working. Shirakaba Quad also delayed by it. People who got on Han-no-ki No.1 Quad early in the morning went to the bottom part of Han-no-ki. 4 members of Ski Club of Kyoto University came and said to me, “Hi, Snownavi!”.
[Han-no-ki]
There was 5 cm fresh snow on the groomed slope of the bottom part of Han-no-ki. It was kind of warm morning, so I had expected wet snow but it was actually soft and light. Sometimes it was snowing calmly, sometimes the strong wind was blowing from the top of slope. However it was coming from behind so it does not that matter.
[Han-no-ki]
As Shirakaba started operation at 8:45 a.m., lots of people came suddenly. The fundation under 6-7cm fresh snow was flat and pretty hard. I found many people tried to ski slowly since the slope got rough after getting lots of ski tracks.
[Shirakaba]
There was 5cm fresh snow on the hard groomed slope in Maruyama. This ski area usually get crowded later than other slopes so the slope still kept good condition even at 9:00 a.m. At 9:40 a.m. the sunlight softly came but it started snowing again soon.
