Tsugaike Kogen / ◎250cm / Snowy2017.Dec.27

17122701_tsugaikeSmall and dried snow was falling silently. The slope at Tsuga-no-mori was groomed widely and it was like a blizzard! It’s been freezing and snowing this morning since yesterday. The amount of snow that was officially announced was 250cm at the top and 100cm at the bottom. They’re not sure if they were able to use Gondola today so Shirakaba quad that started working at 8:30 a.m. was popular among people who were in middle to advanced level.

17122702_tsugaikeMany people were getting stuck in the snow due to the Shirakaba ski slope receiving 70cm of fresh snow. We enjoyed the 15-20cm of fluffy powdery fresh snow on the compacted snow!

17122703_tsugaikeHan-no-ki No.1 started working afterwards. Soft compacted snow and light fresh snow were nice at the bottom of Han-no-ki. They announced Champion Quad would start working after 9 a.m, so I went to see the powdery snow along Han-no-ki No.3 Quad…
