It started to snow from the last evening and continued to snow weakly this morning. At the bottom of the ski area, the snowfall weakened to flutter at 9:30 a.m. and sometimes the soft light shined. Two snowboarders from Chiba Prefecture said, “We came here with another person, but please take only us”, and gave us smiles through face masks.

At Tsuga-no-mori, the slope was groomed widely and covered with thin fresh new snow. The condition was very good to ski with soft powdery snow today, too! However, there was hard ski tracks made before yesterday at non-groomed area of both sides.

At the top of the ski slope, there were some moments when the view becomes all white with snowfall and fog appearing and disappearing repeatedly. From the slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair to the middle and bottom of Han-no-ki, the snow was beautifully groomed and so good to ski on soft powder snow.

There were no people in Maruyama at 9:30 a.m. I could carve with only my own ski tracks on beautifully groomed slope. Kane-no-naru-oka was groomed, moderately firm and covered with little wet snow. Only few people were skiing and snowboarding, so I could monopolize huge slopes.
