It has been snowed since 11th December. This morning, however, soft light shined and we could see the blue sky a little. In the early morning, I met Mr.Okada,who runs Steak Restaurant “NIKU-Masa” in Misorano. He said “The quality of the snow is good and the foundation of non-compacted snow area is not rough, so we could enjoy skiing.

As he say, the foundation of today’s new snow of 30 centimeters was nice. We didn’t have to care the ups and downs. The new snow was exposed to strong wind, but it was so light and soft that spray occurred when we ski. Compacted snow trail with 5 centimeters of new snow was soft moderately and very good.

Han-no-ki was also in so good condition. It was soft nicely and very good to ski. I would like to rotate with Gondola in long course of 3 kilometers. There were bushes in front of the intermediate station of the gondola. However, we could avoid it in adequate space.

On Maruyama slope before opening, there is compacted snow and over 20 centimeters of new snow fallen on it. Soon after this report, it became possible to ski at Karamatsu. With this opening, we can ski all 5 kilometers from the top to the bottom at once.
