As of 8:45 a.m, it was snowing weakly. Yesterday we had much snowfall on the upper parts of the ski area! About 25cm of soft and fresh snow piled up at Tsuga-no-mori. We sometimes felt the stiff foundation, but the feel of the powder snow was better. Therefore, many people skied there as soon as it was open.

The width of the groomed part was about 20cm in this morning. The snow was properly tight and the edge of the ski bit the snow well, so we can ski fast. Then the fog gradually became thick, but it didn’t disturb with skiing.

The fresh snow piled up at the upper part of Han-no-ki as well. The snow was properly tight and the slope was flat, so it was in good condition. There remained about 20cm of fresh snow at the skier’s right of the middle part, so we enjoyed a little powdery snow.

A skier from Kanazawa city in Ishikawa prefecture talked to us “I found these reports 5 years ago when I looked for the slopes. At that time I went skiing a few times in a season, but now, I come skiing about 50 times! I got the qualification of instructor, so I’d like to teach skiing to children in the near future!” Today many visitors talked to us. Thank you!
