It snowed so much last night that I can’t believe it’s still November. Snow compactors and snowmobiles were busily working for maintenance on the slope from the morning. A test of Gondola lift was also conducted. The slope is the most likely to open on Nov. 23 (Thu), with a course along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair Lift. If things go well..

The amount of snow reached 35-40cm not only in the upper area but also in Kane-no-naru-oka area. If I had had my gear, I could have skied. It was chilly this morning due to radiation cooling, so the snow was so soft and reached my knees.

Champion area was all white as well. The amount of snow was 30-35cm around this area and Karamatsu area.

Clouds lifted and the Northern Alps gradually came out. According to a weather forecast, it will be sunny today and tomorrow under the influence of a migratory anticyclone, however, it will be snow again from tomorrow evening till Friday.
