While many ski resorts in Japan have started the spring operation, Tsugaike will keep the same operation as in the top season until Apr. 2 (Sun), thanks to a lot of snow. A man from Tokyo cheered me and said, “This is the first time for me to find you!! I’m very happy!”
[Han-no-ki]
The snow like hail was falling in Han-no-ki. The slope of Han-no-ki was creamy with damp corn snow and covered with 3cm fresh snow. The snow got much damp in the middle part and it made me slow down. After that, I skied into Rindo Course and the snow was very slushy, so some people stopped in the gentle slope.

A snowboarder from Tokyo gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!” The snow falling was also getting more damp. It was also blowing a cold wind, so I felt cold when my jacket got wet. Shirakaba Quad was late for operation, but it was open at around 10:00 a.m.

The clouds got to cover the upper part of Champion at around 9:30 a.m. The slope was melting and covered with 2cm heavy snow, so it was difficult to turn as well. The snow changed to rain in the lower gentle slope. The snow was also slushy in the bottom area.
