The damp snow was falling in the upper parts this morning and there was 5－12cm fresh snow in upper Han-no-ki. People from Hyogo Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” The snow stopped and the sun started to cast the sunlight at around 9:00 a.m.

In Tsuga-no-mori, it was blowing a strong wind. The fresh snow was blew away and the hard slopes were exposed. In the ungroomed area on the skier’s left, there was about 15cm smooth fresh snow and we could enjoy powdery snow even in lower March.

The lower slope of Han-no-ki was covered with 5－10cm damp fresh snow and I suddenly slowed down when I skied into there. The slope was very crowded with people this morning and it got rough soon. By the way, today is “Ski Kids Day”, so I saw many children and families.

Yesterday and today, “Snowboard 2017-18 Next Season Model Test-riding & Order Event” is held by Alpen Group in Kane-no-naru-oka. There are 14 booths of snowboard brands, such as BURTON, SALOMON, DEELUXE, CAPiTA, K2 and others. 2 people from Toyama Pref. showed me the snowboards they picked up for riding later.
