It was slightly snowing in this morning and the whole ski area was covered with thick fog. The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was a little hard with corn snow and there was 5－6cm fresh snow. However, we had to slow down because of the bad visibility.

I met 2 people from Ehime Pref. and they said, “We have stayed in our car for 6 days. We will enjoy Hakuba until this Friday and then, we will move to the other ski areas.” The cold in the morning and night has abated, so it becomes easier to stay in a car.

“Hard corn snow + damp snow” and thick fogs…, the condition was same from the top to the intermediate station of the gondola. When I skied down to Snow Square, the visibility got better finally.

In Oya-no-hara, Karamatsu and Kane-no-naru-oka, the snow got melting in the daytime and frozen in the night, so the slopes were hard. By the way, it is forecast to be snowy on this Wed. and Thu.
