It was cloudy and small snowflakes were whirling around in the gentle wind at the upper part of ski area. It was a weekday in March, so people started skiing late and starting to ski around 9:00 a.m.
[Tsuga-no-mori]
Because the snow got melting once in the warm daytime yesterday, so the groomed slope of Tsuga-no-mori got hard in this morning. However, it was well-groomed and edges of my skis were working well and I could make turn as I imagined. Also, I didn’t have to worry about others and I could enjoy skiing down with speed early in the morning.

The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair Lift was also flat, firm and was in good condition. The middle to the last part of Han-no-ki was nicely firm, and it was bracing to ski down without stopping. Many people were using fast and long Gondola and Han-no-ki No.3 Quads (1602m) many times.
[Han-no-ki]
The widely groomed slope of Maruyama was nicely firm corn snow, so it was good for skiing. The flat slopes of Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu were also nicely firm and crowded with beginners and young people.
