The road toward Tsugaike was frozen because of the low temperature this morning, but when I got to the top of the ski area at around 8:30 a.m, I did not feel cold thanks to the warm sunlight. The slope on the skier’s left was groomed and soft, and the ungroomed area on the other side was also soft. We could turn easily in both areas.

However, Tsuga No.2 Pair was closed 10 minutes after the opening because of the snow-removal work. In Han-no-ki, all of the slopes except for along Han-no-ki No.3 were groomed well, so I enjoyed cruising comfortably.

People from Matsumoto City, Nagano, gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” They snowboarded down with sharp turns after taking photos. Maruyama was also soft and I found groups of beginners were skiing slowly there.

The condition of slopes were still good even in the bottom areas. Oya-no-hara was crowded with couples and familes and there was and peaceful atmosphere. We had an ideal day for riding with the clear sky and good snow today!
