The clouds were moving fast and the sun started to cast the soft sunlight in the morning. The strong wind blew the 10cm fresh snow sometimes, but the gondola and the other lifts were open on schedule. I found people skiing with high speed in the flat groomed slope of Han-no-ki.

Today is “Ski Kids Day” and the lift pass for children is free! I met 3 skiers who saw our reports yesterday and they said, “We are all around 55 years old. We take our 8 children from Hyogo Pref. today!” and showed their skillful skiing.

We could see the blue sky after a while. The groomed slopes were generally firm well from the top to bottom and covered with thin fresh snow. A father and his child with a cute small helmet and BURTON snowboard were also enjoying the long & wide slope.

The sunlight got stronger and stronger and it made me feel hot. Lower February is much comfortable than December and January, but there is a risk of getting cold because of the sweat, so it is recommended to wear changeable clothes.
