The chill came back and it was -13 degree Celsius in the morning. The groomed run of skier’s left in Tsuga-no-mori was nicely soft and the rest of area was not groomed. There were 30 cm fresh snow on the non-groomed area and many people were dropped in to the fresh snow after they got off the Tsuga No.2 Lift.

A group from Fukuoka Pref. gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!”. They said, “The weather is fine,the snow is good! Awesome!” The run along the Han-no-ki High Speed Lift was groomed very well and the skiing was easy.

There were about 30 cm little heavy fresh snow on the non-groomed run along the Han-no-ki No.3 Quad. The slope under the fresh snow was hard but the experts were skied down with high speed and big snow spray. The groomed run was flat and I could ski comfortably.

There were only few people in Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu so the groomed run remained even at 9:30 a.m. There were no influence of yesterday’s rain and the beginners were practicing at their own pace at the wide & soft run. As the sun rose higher, it became warmer at the bottom area.
