The weather got better and better from the last afternoon and we had a sunny day today. Champion area has a groomed steep slope (35° at the maximum, 26° in average), an ungroomed steep slope along Champion Quad (954m), a slope along Tsugaike No.1 Pair (436m) and Right∞Park.

The groomed steep slope is always wide, so kids and beginners can enjoy as well. This morning, it was firm, even hard, and people tended to slow down and skied at their own pace.

Now, Right∞Park has Flat Chloride Vinyl, Drum, 9m and 6m kickers, Step-up Kicker, Up-down Box and totally 5 items. Besides, there are wavy runs and small kickers. It is a beginner-friendly snow park.

When I got to the top of the ski area, I met 2 groups from Fukuoka and Shizuoka Pref. 2 people from Fukuoka said they would stay until this Friday. 4 people from Shizuoka had season lift passes and they come riding to Tsugaike every weekend. Tsuga-no-mori was nicely firm and Han-no-ki was very firm today.
