Tsugaike Kogen / ◎290cm / Snowy2017.Jan.19
It was snowing at the bottom area but when I reached the summit station the blue sky was spread though the snow was falling lightly. Surprisingly there were about 15 cm fresh snow on non-groomed area.

The slope of Tsuga-no-mori was groomed nicely firm and covered with 8 cm fresh snow. The groomed run along the Han-no-ki High-Speed Pair was also nicely soft and I could feel the powder condition under my skis. There were few people because of a weekday in January, so the good condition was kept for a long time and I wanted to ski many times here.

As I skied through the forest course to Shirakaba, the fresh slope kept even at 9:20 a.m. The run was also moderately soft as the upper part of the ski area. The snow was falling heavily from the middle to the bottom of ski area and the cold wind was blowing too.

The family from Mie pref., who came to Tsugaike yesterday, said, “The condition of the snow became much better.” The soft and gentle slopes of Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu was covered with about 5 cm fresh snow. As of 10:00 a.m., the central parking area was still plenty of space was left.
