Thanks to the continuous snowfall in these days, the official amount of snow is announced that it gets over 300cm deep!! It is 24 days earlier than the last year and we have 175cm more snow than on the same date (Jan. 17) in the last winter. A man from Osaka gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!”

There was over 60cm fresh snow in the ungroomed area of Han-no-ki! It was too deep and a little heavy, so people tended to ski or snowboard straight. The groomed slope was soft and covered with 10cm fresh snow.

The lower part of Umanose Course had also fresh deep snow. The upper part was closed as of 9:30 a.m. I wish I could ski there because it looked to be so fine, but time to go had come.

Shirakaba was highly recommended today. There was snowfall after the slope was groomed, so 20－30cm fresh snow was on the flat and soft slope. By the way, it was snowing more heavily in the lower areas than in the upper areas this morning.
