We had a fine day on the first day of holidays. It was cold well, but not blowing a wind, so I could ski comfortably. The groomed slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was nicely firm and in good condition, so I would like to ski there again and again.

The fine weather made me climb up to the top of ski area. From Tsuga-no-mori, I could see the beautiful contrast of Northern Alps and the clear sky. I found some groups going back country skiing and 2 people from Osaka also said they would climbed up to Mt. Korenge.

The groomed slope of Tsuga-no-mori was also firm well, so I could ski down with high speed from the top to the bottom. By the way, most people skied and snowboarded along Tsuga No.2 Pair, so the slope on the skier’s right side remained fresh for a long while.

I found no bushes in the slopes during skiing down through Rinkan, Shirakaba and Oya-no-hara. Today and tomorrow, night skiing is available in Shirakaba and Karamatsu (6:00 p.m.－9:00 p.m. Adult: JPY2,200, Child: JPY1,700). Besides, Early Morning Operation will be held on Jan. 8 (Sun) and Jan. 9 (Mon) at 6:30 a.m. (1-day Pass for the day is valid)
