The snow was falling from early morning and the strong wind was blowing in the upper part of ski area. The gondola was operating between Gondola Depo and Snow Square. Shirakaba Quad start operate on time 8:10 a.m. Shirakaba area was non groomed and about 1 cm of new was piled up on firm terrain.

Many people were run down to Han-no-ki from upper Shirakaba via forest course. The lower Han-no-ki was non groomed but the terrain was moderately firm I could ski easily.

Han-no-ki No.3 Quad was also postponed the operation of 8:30 a.m. This group from Osaka pref. gave me the watchword “We always watching your reports.”

Maruyama area was groomed but there were many bushes from middle part to the last part. So it was difficult to turn with speed. Later on Han-no-ki No.3 Quad and Han-no-ki High Speed Pair started to operate from 9:30 a.m.
