Tsugaike Kogen / ◎110cm / Cloudy and Sunny2017.Jan.02
The sky was covered with thin clouds and there was no wind. So the weather was mild and I felt comfortable. This morning as well, the center part of Tsuga-no-mori and the area along the Han-no-ki High Speed lift was nicely groomed.

The amount of snow was not large yet, however, there was nicely-firm powder snow and the slope was good to ski. I could use the edges of my skis well and turn with speed again and again as I wanted to. It was in nice condition and I felt that I wanted to ski here many times.

The middle and lower areas of Han-no-ki Slope were not compacted and there were rise and fall. As I skied down, I also saw bushes. For your information, Sawa Course and One Course, which are the “branches” of Han-no-ki Slope are available, too. Kane-no-naru-oka No.2 Slope was non-compacted, however, it was not rough and good to ski down.

The temperature had edged upward after the clouds broken and the sun began to shine. I wondered if I might take off my underwear. Two persons from Hamamatsu, Shizuoka prefecture told me “We see your reports every day”. For your information, Shirakaba Slope and Maruyama Slope were also non-compacted. There were gentle rise and fall, and the amount of snow was not enough in places.
