It was snowing thick and fast on the northwesterly wind. However, the snowfall at the beginning of Tsuga-no-mori slope was not much different from that of last morning and there were still some bushes. The texture of compacted snow was very good and I could turn as I wanted.

Fresh snow in the non-compacted area was packed and a little bit dry. However, advanced skiers didn’t mind and skied well from morning. Thank you for usually saying to me “I always see your reports!” or skiing toward the camera.

Godenba Course hasn’t opened yet, however, “Godenba course through the forest”, running like a thread through Godenba Course, are well-groomed and available. Skiing through a silent forest is goof for a change.

The area along the Han-no-ki high speed pair lifts was groomed well. So it was nicely firm and in good condition. I saw student groups practicing basic skiing and snowboarders making ground tricks, while the forests on both sides were offering protection against wind.
