Today, Tsuga-no-mori is open!! Tsuga No.2 Pair started the operation at 8:30 a.m. and people rushed into the fresh slope one after another. It has been snowing since yesterday and the official announcement says the amount of snow jumped to 90cm deep.

The central part of Tsuga-no-mori was gloomed well and it was nicely firm. On the sides of the slope, untouched 50cm fresh snow left and it gave us comfortable feel of floating on the fluffy snow.

The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was also gloomed and firm well. We could make turns comfortably with raising thin fresh snow on the run. Today is a weekend, so people made a long line for the gondola before its opening.

People from Ishikawa Pref. greeted me this morning. “We can start snowboarding in this winter season so finely!”, they smiled and said to me.
