It was rainy in the last evening, and the weather got sunny in this morning. I thought it would be hot, but I felt a refreshing cool wind in the upper part. People from Ishikawa Pref. gave the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports.” They also said, “The ski areas in Ishikawa were closed 2 weeks earlier than the usual.”
[ Tsuga-no-mori ]
The snow in Tsuga-no-mori was good corn snow. The run was nicely firm, so I could turn easily. In the slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair, the surface was melting and the base was firm. A family from Kanagawa Pref. said they would stay in Hakuba and enjoy skiing for four days.
[ Han-no-ki ]
The snow in the middle part of Han-no-ki was very damp. However, the run was quiet, so was not rough. Maruyama was also quiet and I could enjoy making the first track on the fresh slope.
[ Han-no-ki ]
I climbed up again from the intermediate station of the gondola. I met people from Saitama Pref. said, “We have been always looking for you and finally meet you!” The condition of Shirakaba was very severe. By the way, this is the last report in this season.
