Tsugaike Kogen / 197cm / Cloudy2016.Mar.30
I could see the blue sky, but the sunlight was blocked off by the thick clouds, so I felt a little cold. I met people from Toyama and Nagano Pref. and the boy gave me the watchword cheerfully, “I always enjoy your reports!” Mar. 21 was the last day of Official Skiing Test in Tsugaike, and the man with a green jacket said he passed the first degree (Congratulation!).
[ Tsuga-no-mori ]
The well-groomed run of Tsuga-no-mori was nicely firm. Tsuga No.2 Pair was open at 8:20 a.m. and the run was quiet just after the open. Experts were skiing and snowboarding down with high-speed turns.

The clouds were blocking off the sunlight almost all the time in the morning, so the temperature remained low. Because of that, The upper and middle parts of Han-no-ki were a little hard. However, edges of my skies worked well and I could turn easily. The snow finally got melting in the lower part near Maruyama.
[ Han-no-ki ]
The snow in the lower areas was also melting and the runs of Karamatsu and Oya-no-hara were soft and flat. By the way, we have had warm days recently, so the amount of snow had decreased utterly in Kane-no-naru-oka and Kane-no-naru-oka No.2. Those areas were closed today because of the snow shortage.
