More and more courses are open one after another in Sugadaira Kogen. Now, totally 6 lifts and 12 courses are available. Ura Davos Heart Forest Course, one of those opened courses, starts from the wide area of Davos-no-oka (Photo) to the gentle slope after “Heart Forest”.

This morning, this course was nicely firm with the corn snow and topped with 2cm dry fresh snow. I saw elementary school students who were on their school trip from Tokyo (Photo) enjoying their lesson and heard them saying “So cold it is!” or “Happy to be able to ski!”

7 people from Tokyo (Photo) talked, “We are staying for a night from yesterday. Our accommodation, Sugadaira Sun Hotel, has a great access to the slope. We are so excited to snowboard!” Urataro Family East across the road was a nicely firm slope of corn snow.

I could enjoy curving as I imagined with sharp edging in Shirogane Karamatsu Course (Photo) which was a nicely firm groomed slope with 1-2cm fresh snow on it. By the way, we could ski all the way from Urataro Family East, Shirogane Karamatsu to Shirogane Rinkan in Taro Area and from Champion, Omatsuyama, GO-no-hara, Friend to Family.
