Nomugi Toge / ◎85cm / Cloudy2022.Mar.17
There are just 10 days left until Nomugi Toge finishes its operation this winter. Skyliner was reopened today which was closed from Mar. 15 (Tue) because of a lightning strike. Sky Rabbit was late for its opening, so most people started riding from Panorama (Photo) and Tatemizunosaka this morning.
[Panorama]
The groomed slopes of Panorama (Photo), Tatemizunosaka and Family were nicely firm and in good corn snow condition which enabled us to ski with smooth curving. The snow was very less and the ground was exposed in some parts, but it didn’t matter for skiing.

A couple from Aichi Prefecture gave me the greeting, “We always enjoy your reports! Actually, the ski areas in Gifu Prefecture are closer to us than here, but the snow and slopes in Nomugi Toge are better than them, so we always come here with the season lift pass.” By the way, “Ski Kids Day” is coming on Mar. 20 (Sun) and elementary schoolers will be free of charge.
[Champion Course]
It was blowing a west wind continuously, so we felt cold sometimes. My skis ran well on the nicely firm groomed slope of Champion Course (Photo). Both Rabbit Course and Champion Course 2 were also in good condition. Expert Course was closed today because the snow melted greatly due to the rain in the last few days.
