Thanks to the abundance of snow, a 6 day extension of the operation day has been decided, so the ski area will be open until Mar. 27 (Sun)! It is expected that we will have more warm and sunny days from now, so the next month should be the best season to enjoy Kurohime Kogen. Today, we were favored with the good weather and able to see Nojiri-ko Lake and Mt. Madarao (1,382m).

Rental Biking is very recommended for kids who want to play with snow fully where you can try more than 1,000 items. A mother and her son from Nagano City picked up a sled with a handle and she said, “We usually come to Kurohime on weekdays when the ski area is not busy. My son fed up with the practice of skiing, so he came here.”

I also saw a child challenging Strider and following her mother very well. Not only KUROHIME FAMILY PARK, but also the groomed slopes of Shinanoki, Karamatsu and Cosmos were nicely firm. My skis ran well in these courses, so I could enjoy riding smoothly.

Sisters from Kanagawa and Niigata Prefecture said, “We decided to come to Kurohime because the snow play area is well equipped with items. We are enjoying this ski area from yesterday. Our husbands are skiing in the upper areas.” The penguin-shaped sled looked to be difficult to control.
