Kurohime Kogen started its winter season on Dec. 25 (Sat) and No.1 Lift was open at 8:30 a.m. A father from Iida City in Nagano said, “I always check your reports! You make reports of not only Hakuba, but also Kurohime! Both my son and I got the season lift pass, so we decided to come skiing from the edge of Nagano Prefecture to here this season!”

The groomed slopes of Shinano-ki, Karamatsu and Cosmos (Photo) were frim and covered with wet fresh snow thinly. The snow amount was still 35cm deep here and it was not enough to cover all bumps of the ground and bushes, but they did not matter to skiing.

Shirakaba Course is on the top of the ski area. The central part was groomed and the other parts were not groomed today. The groomed slope was covered with 3cm wet fresh snow. There was 5-10cm of wet snow on the off-piste area (Photo).

No.3 Lift was open at 10:00 a.m. as scheduled and Kurohime One Coin Park was available. This meant all of the courses were open in Kurohime! By the way, in KUROHIME FAMILY PARK (Photo), you can play with over 1,000 items and take No.3 Lift anytime by payment of entrance fee of JPY1,500 (Over 3 years old).
