From the left is, Mr. Tishiki Suetaka, who won the men’s alpine title at the 29th JSBA All Japan Snowboard Technical Championships, Mr. Aizawa, Mr. Atsushi Nakahara, who is the principal of AZ PRO snowboarding school, and Ms. Yuko Nakamoto, who won women’s freestyle title.

It was warm, but the sky got gradually covered with thin clouds and yellow dust. All slopes were blanketed with granular snow this morning. Snow was very hard on Kurosawa Slope, and moderately hard on 5-A in the early morning. I saw secondary school students from Tokyo practicing skiing hard on the bottom area of 1-C (pictured) and Maruyama Slope.

There were some ups and downs on the steep non-compacted slope of Course 1-C. Meanwhile, snow was nicely-compacted on the upper and lower gentle slope. Granular snow started to melt past 9 on Course 1-A, 1-B (pictured), 1-C, and Maruyama Slope (pictured in the fourth photo).
