We have been having warm days and never had a heavy snowfall in March. Today, it was decided to finish the operation of No.1 Quad, so Course 1-A, B and C were also closed (*The lower part of 1-C is still available by No.7 Pair). Instead of that, No.3 Quad started its operation everyday, although it was closed on weekdays.

The snow is getting less gradually, but the spring park is maintained well. A man from Aichi Pref. (Photo) talked, “I check your reports sometimes. I will try to make my girlfriend be able to snowboard today.” The groomed slope of corn snow was nicely firm and my skis ran well there, although I saw the snow in some parts changed its color by the ground.

I could enjoy skiing at high speed smoothly in the nicely firm groomed slopes of Kurosawa (Photo) and Maruyama. In contrast to Course 1-A, B and C, Kurosawa and Maruyama still kept enough snow thanks to the direction the slopes are facing and the less sunlight.

The groomed slope of Course 5-A (Photo) which is facing the north is also nicely firm. The surface melted a little, so the edges of my skis worked very well. The off-piste area of 5-B was covered with big hard bumps. In 5-C, the slope had hard bumps as well and the ground was exposed in some parts of the bottom areas.
