Now the area from Maruyama to lower Course 1-C is under the preparation for “Nagano Open Cross Game Kashimayari CUP” held on Mar. 14 (Sun), one of the biggest cross games in Japan. Unique competitions of “Kayak-X 2021” and “SPEEDEST Kashimayari” will be also held on April 4 (Sun), the last operation day of Kashimayari.

We had a calm and warm cloudy morning with the scales clouds which shows the approach of the low air pressure in the sky. The groomed slopes of Kurosawa (Photo), Course 5-A and Course 1-A were nicely firm and the corn snow was smooth, so we could ski there comfortably. In the off-piste slope of Course 5-B, there were big and middle bumps which were nicely soft.

Ippon-buna Downhill Course (Photo) was also groomed and in corn snow condition. The beginning part was smooth and the lower part was melted. Nakatsuna Beginners Area was also in melted corn snow condition. In those areas, my skis ran so well that I could ski at high speed easily.

The staff of Nakatsuna Freestyle Park talked, “We are preparing a special park for “WAKUWAKU RAIL JAM2nd” held tomorrow. We are looking forward to seeing you!” I saw some parts having little snow, but the items in the park were maintained well, so we could try them without hesitation.
