From the daytime on Dec 26 (Tue) to this morning, it has snowed heavily. According to the formal announcement, the snowfall reached 100cm! Not only the courses but also the guest houses were covered with much snow. The road was completely frozen and got white. As of 7:50 a.m., the snow got weakly and in the east sky the sun was sometimes shining weakly.

From yesterday afternoon, Ippon-buna Downhill Course was opened only for the advanced players. And then, from today Ippon-buna was opened to the public. In the early morning, especially, snowboarding by the advanced players attracted us, and it was impressed that the snow dust whipped up by them.

The snow was entirely soft and powdery to the lowest Course 8, and we skied comfortably both at groomed and non-groomed areas. We didn’t find any bushes and skiing the 2km of down hill was really exhilarating!

The slope at Kurosawa was properly tight and many beginners came there. The strong wind blew at Central slope soon after the operation started, but the wind stopped in 30 minutes. I heard joyful voices here and there.
