The amount of snow was officially announced 340cm even in December! The heavy snow stopped and it was calm this morning and sometimes the sun was shined. Ikenota was groomed nicely soft and the snow was in good quality.

There was a dreamlike atmosphere in the upper area of the slope which was covered with powder snow and rimes. I enjoyed soft powder snow at both Hieda Forest and Itadaira Course, which were also well-groomed. It made me really excited.

Rabbit Course, which was well-groomed, was nicely firm and I enjoyed skiing with speed. There was over 40cm of new snow at the non groomed steep slope of Kamoshika Course. As No.5 Pair Lift started working, Giant, Itadaira Ridge, Itadaira Frorest Course got available and Cortina was finally full-opened!

There were lots of Japanese families because it was the end of the year. So, Cortina Kids Park were also crowded. Various services, including rental sleigh (400 JPY / 20min), snow-tubing (300 JPY/ 20min), and 1DAY passport for Kids Park (1,500 JPY/day), are available.
