We had the soft sunlight through the thin clouds this morning. There was just a poor turnout just after the ski area was open and I found only a few people in the slopes even at 9:00 a.m. We did not have a snowfall last night, but the snow remained in good condition thanks to the low temperature.

The groomed slopes of Course 1-A, B, C, 5-A, Kashima and Kurosawa were nicely firm and good to ski. Especially, the steep slope from Course 1-A to Kashima was covered with beautiful corduroy patterns.

Nakatsuna Action Park was also in good condition. It has a 7.5-meter kicker off course and funny items such as a iron ball and Pudding. By the way, the entry to “CORVET Camp” on Mar. 7 (Tue) has started! It is a popular camp with chartered items, video clinics and big lottery (Capacity 30 people, Fee JPY4,000).

I met the owner of Kuni’s Country Kitchen in Course 5-A. He said, “Now, we have limited menus, Tender Roast Beef Don and Parmigiana Steak Don until Feb. 27 (Mon)! Please come and try them!”
