“Mountain Wave 2017” has been held at Course 5-C. Today was 1st day of the event and 19 riders and 25 general public participants were participated. Demo runs of famous riders were started from 10:30 a.m. Quarter-pipe was built at lowest part of 5-C and I could see spectacular run very near.

In addition, 2 kickers at upper part and 4 kickers at lower part were set up in 5-C. Demo runs were finished in 30 minutes and after that opened to the general public participants.

The snow was fell heavily from late last night to this morning and there were many fresh snow on regulated 5-C. The riders and the participants were enjoying the feel of floating of powder snow and No. 5 Pair Lift was like a spectator’s seat.

Quarter contest will be scheduled from 1 p.m. Tomorrow is 2nd day and Course 5-C will open to the participants from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the quarter contest will be scheduled from 1 p.m. According to the weather forecast, snow will fall until next morning. There is a high chance to enjoy the powder snow tomorrow.
