We had a fine day and it was very cold, -8 degrees, because of the radiative cooling. Kashimayari starts the operations at 7:30 a.m. on weekends, we could see the more refreshing sunlight this morning. We started to ski, enjoying the panoramic view of Omachi City in the south.

The groomed slopes of Course 1-A, B and C was in good condition and I could hear the comfortable sound of fresh snow during skiing. This is the true charm in the top season of Winter.

After No.5 Pair was open at 8:30 a.m, mainly experts climbed up to West Mt. one after another. Course 5-A was finely groomed and awesome! We could also see the grand view of Northern Alps such as Mt. Kashimayari.

I found some people skiing as if they were dancing with short skies. By the way, “Ski Area Jack”, an orientation event in the whole ski area, is held today. Free snowboard test-riding, group skiing and performance by snowboarders will be held as well.
