Kashimayari / ◎170cm / Snowy2017.Jan.19

17011901_kashimayariThe sun started to cast the sunlight as soon as the ski area was open and the cold north wind and snow got abating. The snowfall from the last night to this morning was 10-12cm in Chuo area. All of the slopes except for Course 5-B and 5-C were groomed and especially, Course 1-A had a wide groomed slope.
[Course 5-C]
17011902_kashimayariThe groomed slopes were nicely firm and covered with 2-5cm fresh snow. Today was a weekday in January, so I met only a few people in the early morning. I could enjoy the fine slopes again and again.
[Course 2: Kurosawa]
17011903_kashimayariAt around 9:30 a.m, skiers began to practice with poles in Course 1-B and junior lessons of Kashimayari Ski School in front of Central Plaza 1130, so the ski area got crowded. It was forecast to be warm today, but I felt very cold during I was there.
[Course 1: Toomi Grand View A]
17011904_kashimayariThe slope of Ippon-buna Downhill Course was also groomed and covered with 2-5cm light snow. By the way, Nakatsuna Action Park is prepared for its opening from today in Nakatsuna area. The staff told me that the park would be open day after tomorrow!
