The heavy snow since Jan. 11 (Wed) had stopped and we had finally the blue sky after a long while. It was very cold because of the radiative cooling and I could hear pleasant sound of snow during walking. The groomed area of Warabi-daira was so good in this early morning.

No.4 Pair had a long line of people for the powdery snow kept yesterday. It started the operation 10 minutes earlier than usual and people rushed into Mt. Hieda Course 2, 3 and Itadaira Course. Mt. Hieda Course 3 had about 50cm fresh snow!

It hardly snowed in the last night, but the fresh snow fallen yesterday remained dry and light thanks to the cold weather. We could enjoy the feel of floating fully! I heard shouts of joy from everywhere even though today was a weekday.

The frosted trees lit up by the sunlight were very beautiful. The groomed slopes of Mt. Hieda Rinkan, Ikenota, Ippon-matsu and Rabbit were nicely soft. I could not decide where to go soon because each slope was in fine condition this morning.
