Kashimayari / 30cm / Snowy2017.Jan.05

17010501_kashimayariThe snow falling from the early morning had stopped at around 10:00 a.m. It was very cold (-6 degrees) and we had fresh snow this morning as well, so the groomed slopes were in fine condition. The ski run of Course 1-A also got much better and was nicely firm.
[Course 1: Toomi Grand View A]
17010502_kashimayariI found kids and beginners taking lessons in the flat and wide gentle slope of Kashima. Among them, some experts showed their skillful turns. Chuo Area was already so crowded with a lot of people that No.2 Pair and No.3 Quad had a line.
[Course 3: Kashima]
17010503_kashimayariAfter that, the weather got better and we could see the blue sky after 10:30 a.m. However, it was blowing a cold wind still and we felt very chilly when the sunlight was blocked off. Two people from Saitama and Tokyo Pref. were enjoying snowboarding after staying overnight.
[Course 3: Kashima]
17010504_kashimayariThere were many ski tracks on the slope of Kurosawa, but it was not rough. By the way, “Kashima Rindo Course”, a detour course from the upper station of No.1 Quad to Kashima, have been open since Jan. 2 (Mon). Thanks to that, beginners can go down to Central Plaza 1130 safely, avoiding the steep slopes.
[Course 2: Kurosawa]
