We had a calm morning with the soft sunlight. Today, No.4 Pair had a long line before it started the operation because the snow fallen yesterday made people expect good snow. By the way, I found people waiting for No.2 Quad as well even 30 minutes before its opening.

However, there was much less fresh snow than we expected and the amount was about 20cm. In Mt. Hieda Course 1, experts made rhythmical turns to the bumps, enjoying fluffy feel of light snow. I found people also skiing into Mt. Hieda Course 2 & 3 which had been open yesterday.

Of course, a lot of people tried Self-responsibility Courses though, I heard the icy runs scratched by the edges of skies. No.5 Pair was open at around 10:00 a.m. and people climbed up for the fresh slopes of Giant Course.

I did not feel so cold because it hardly blew a wind. The groomed slopes of Ikenota, Ipponmatsu and Itadaira were nicely soft, thanks to the snowfall yesterday. After enjoying powdery snow fully, we could cruise the flat runs comfortably and easily.
