The next weekends are three straight Christmas holidays and the decorations have raised us up recently. In Central Plaza 1130, all shops and restaurants except for “Manpukutei Wakachan (Open on Weekend, Holidays, New Year Season)” are open now. Highland Spa which commands splendid views of Northern Alps and Alpen Inn which has a large capacity of 228 guests are also available.

While it has been warm in these days, two opened courses, Kurosawa and Kashima are kept in good condition thanks to the artificial snowing machines every day. The slope was flat in the early morning, so we could enjoy high-speed skiing and snowboarding.

The clear sky spread out and Mt. Kashimayarigatake and Mt. Jiigatake showed me their great peaks. I wore a thin fleece under my jacket and it was enough today.

I found the ground got exposed gradually day by day, but almost all of the slopes still remained good (Park items are moved and going to be available in the lower part of Course 7 today). The wide run of Kashima was maintained as well. I met a couple from Kanagawa Pref. This is the first time for the girl to snowboard and the boy taught snowboarding to her kindly.
