Hakuba Iwatake / ○180cm / Snowy2019.Jan.22
Visibility was poor at the upper area of Snowfield around 10 am due to the heavy snow and thick fog. Furthermore, there was a northerly wind and it was pretty cold around the entrance of Sawa Course. The fresh snow was trodden but soft at Gezan Course and South Slope.
[Gezan Course]
There were some beginners and intermediate skiers/snowboarders from overseas at North Slope. All items are available except for the last kicker at DC PARK. I saw some beginners and children skiing down the low boxes.
[North Slope]
About 7 cm of fresh snow lied on the soft compacted snow at North Slope. VIEW C was a bit foggy, however, the visibility was good and I felt skiing down again and again.
[North Slope]
The fog getting clear around Rouka and completely cleared at Sunny Valley Course, when I was heading for the foot. Sunny Valley Course and Paradise Slope were soft and nice. By the way, the amount of snow reached over 100 cm at the lower area. I am wondering when the course around Kamo1 Lift will be available.
