Hakuba Iwatake / ○120cm / light cloud2019.Jan.15
A calm morning of light cloudy. Since it is a weekday after the three consecutive holidays in January, visitors started moving very slowly. The first in the morning East Slope, VIEW C and D were tightened and easy to slide and could repeat the turn freely without worrying about others.
[East Slope]
The wide & flat South Slope is also well tightened, very slippery condition. Also, due to the weak sunlight, the temperature did not rise easily during the day and the good condition was kept for a long time. There were more visitors from overseas since 9:00 a.m., including 2 people (photos) from Hong Kong.
[South Slope]
When going down to the base area, the Gezan Course was tightened well, the beginning of the Sunny Valley Course was firm, the snowball roll over, and the Sunny Valley Course mid to the final were well tightened and flat. From the end of the Gezan Course to the early stage of Sunny Valley Course, there were a few places where the snow faded, and attention was necessary.
[Gezan Course]
The steep slope of the early stage of Paradise Slope was hard undulation by non-compacted snow, bushes were out, and it was difficult. Although it was somewhat firm at the last of the Course, it was flat and slippery with no bushings.
