It was snowy on the gentle wind at the upper area of Snowfield, however, it was not chilly at all. “We enjoy your reports. We have met before at Tsugaike, haven’t we? We are having a great time as it it not crowded today.”, a family coming from Kanazawa City, Ishikawa said. As they said, many people arrived late today although it was a weekend.
[Gezan Course]
I enjoyed making turns at South and East Slope, which were well-compacted and nicely firm with about 3 cm of fresh snow on the surface. “We enjoy your reports!”, two people, one coming from Aichi and the other from Ibaraki, told me. I also saw many other advanced skiers/snowboarders making big turns at East Slope like them.
[East Slope]
Flat VIEW D with 3-5 cm of light, fresh snow was nice too. When I went back to South Slope past 9 am, it was crowded as it was a weekend. Firm Gezan Course and Sunny Valley Course were ok with 2 cm of fresh snow.
[VIEW D]
I went down carefully on White Ribbon Course, which is available after New Year’s Holiday, because there were big moguls and tall bushes on the steep slope around starting area. At thr middle and last area, there was about 3 cm of fresh snows on the gentle ups and downs. “I enjoy your reports.”, a snowboarder coming from Yamanashi told me.
