Iwatake/ △160cm / Sunny2018.Mar.30

18033001_iwatakeA course construction is going on for “the 4th Hakuba Paradise Slalom” which is scheduled tomorrow at the skier’s left of Gezan Course. Though the sunlight was strong, the wind was cool at the upper area and it was comfortable overall.

18033002_iwatakeParadise Slalom Course is 435m long. The difference of altitude is 120m. 26 banks are made on the course which is the most ever. The producer Noboru Konno said, “We are working on this so hard right now!”
[Gezan Course]
18033003_iwatakeThe quota is 250 people in total. But it is already reached the fixed number and the opening ceremony will be started at 9:15 a.m. and then the competition will start at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. The groomed South was slushy and soft. Sawa Course was also in the almost same condition as South but it still had corduroy patterns even after 10 a.m..

18033004_iwatakeAs I skied down to Sunny Valley Course, snow melted very soft and the skis not ran well. In addition to that, trees blocked the wind and the temperature became high. At Paradise, the amount of snow was not enough and gathered to the center of course but I found colors of ground in snow.
