Iwatake/ ◎220cm / Cloudy & Sunny2018.Feb.01

18020101_iwatakeWe had the soft sunlight in the morning. Today, it was very cold as well and the slopes of VIEW C & D were nicely firm. They were still flat even after a long while and I could enjoy riding comfortably.

18020102_iwatakeThere were many snowboarders in VIEW Area, and especially, a man who was riding a long snow skate impressed me. From VIEW B, the off-piste steep slope next to VIEW C, I heard the sound of edging on the hard snow. The bumps were very firm and the off-piste areas were in difficult condition.
[VIEW C]
18020103_iwatakeThe clouds got thicker and thicker as time passed and the sunlight was often blocked off. The groomed slopes of East, South and Gezan Course were also nicely firm and in good condition. The student competition will start in 2 weeks, so I saw many student skiers making sharp turns.
[Gezan Course]
18020104_iwatakeWhite Ribbon Course was nicely groomed. Some parts were a little hard, but generally, the slope was firm well and in nice condition. The slope of Paradise area in the bottom part was also flat, so I thought anyone from beginners to experts could ski comfortably there.
