The mountainside in this morning was covered with thick fog and I barely could find people skiing around me. I met a group pf three came from Taiwan. They said they would stay 8 night in HAKUBA VALLEY and they seemed they were used to snowboarding.

By the time of 9:00 a.m., the fog had gone and the visibility came back. Since it was warm at the bottom yesterday, I had been concerned about the quality of the snow but South, East and VIEW C, D were still in good conditions.

“I always enjoy your reports. I often go many of HAKUBA VALLEY ski area so your reports help me a lot” said a woman came from Kanagawa Pref. There were waves at the upper part of VIEW D.

As I went down the mountain, the slope became hard and I found a bunch of snowballs. The courses of the village side were vacant and most of customers there were foreigners. Kamoshika Pocket had small bumps and many ski tracks but it was softer than I thought.
