Iwatake/ ◎160cm / Snowy2018.Jan.02
This morning, at the top of the mountain, the view was not good for the snowfall and fog. The trees on the top of snow field were rimed due to the blizzards last night and being so cold. However, the new snow was blowed by the wind, so there was not so much snow on slopes.

A family from Osaka called out to me, “Hi, Snownavi!!” They are staying 8 nights from December 28th to January 5th at Iwatake. Every groomed slopes of the upper area were moderately firm and with perfect powder snow. Only the bad view was disappointing.
[Gezan Course]
To change completely, the bottom part of snow field had clear view with sunlight. Kometsuga Course, which is good to ski with moderately firm snow, were empty. It was impressive that elementary school students were skiing at high speed. Sunny Valley Course had little hard groomed snow, but the soft new snow on the surface worked well and I could enjoy skiing.
[Kometsuga Course]
At Paradise area, there was almost no wind, and sunlight was comfortable. The area was groomed firm and I could enjoy skiing fast from the top to the bottom.
