It was raining at the bottom area,but it turned to snow when I got off Gondola, and it stopped snowing soon. A girl from Ishikawa with her father practiced hard to join “8th Iwatake Kids Cup”, which was held today. The groomed slope of White Ribbon was covered with 5 cm dump fresh snow and it was difficult to make turns.

Although the snow was groomed well at Gezan and South, but due to 5cm fresh snow it was difficult to ski. It seemed that 2visitors from Shizuoka were in trouble. The non-groomed run of Hill Top under fresh snow was moderately firm. There were 5 cm fresh snow on groomed Sawa course and it was a little bit difficult to ski.

VIEW B was covered with big and hard irregular bumos. But the fresh snow helped the beginners to try skiing there. The snow at VIEW C&D was groomed well and we could ski comfortably, so many visitors enjoyed there.

At Gezan & Sunny Valley Course, the fresh snow and granular snow were mixed and the condition became better around 10:00 a.m. At Paradise the snow was slushy and heavy. The visitors was waiting to take on Gondola for 6-7 minutes, but we didn’t need to wait for High Central Pair, so we could go to summit soon.
